Depending on how quick they move - on the floor portraits with babies can be great! After all, you're in their element. I often find though that the light can be adversely coloured by carpets or floor boards - so black & white can be a great choice here. I'm always wanting to show the parents and their interactions with the baby because they become a strong 'marker' of connection and development as the kids grow up - and especially as those kids become parents themselves. I understand that the portraits I make have a long reach in peoples lives.
