A flower girl tries on the bride's veil and twirls — entirely her own idea, in beautiful window light, with no direction from me. The kind of moment you can't ask for and can't pose; you just have to be ready when it happens. It's also a small reminder of why I love photographing children: when they're left to be themselves, they give you a glimpse into pure joy.
