As a professional family photographer, I have worked with lovely families all across the Greater Toronto Area since 2003. I am probably best known in the industry for my special touch in capturing joy, followed by my technical consistency and dedicated client focus. You can relax and enjoy your photoshoot knowing that the images will be high quality, the lighting and posing will be flattering, and the fun atmosphere will bring out your best smiles.
Motherhood
When I think back, it was a wild yet beautiful ride to become a skilled professional photographer. Even before I launched into this, I was really on a path to become a photographer through my nine year change management consulting career, through my master’s degree in psychology and during the fabulous years of motherhood.
Expertise
Along the journey, I obtained my Master of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada, an important industry recognition that I was most proud of. I delivered countless presentations to other professionals at major photo conventions, to share my knowledge and passion, and I sat on some amazing high caliber judging panels at those conventions to help educate and inspire emerging photographers.
Togetherness
I have always been fascinated by how people feel, what inspires them, and how to create the best possible photographs for them. I believe in love, joy and a shared sense of oneness. I have made some fabulous friends along the way, including many of my wonderful clients and countless other amazing photographers that also call Toronto home.
Life is Beautiful
I think my love of photographing clients is second only to my love of photographing my own daughters. When not working, I can be found “hangin” with my girls, sailing my laser sailboat, fixing up the cottage (an infinite task), and quietly celebrating life.
